Maruti Suzuki has stopped production of its compact hatchback Ignis 2018 model, which gives the company a huge discount on the Ignis 2018 model, up to 1 lakh rupees. On dealerships, customers are being given a rebate of up to Rs 1 lakh on purchasing this car. According to sources, Maruti Ignis will now be launched in a new avatar. Because of this, the company has stopped production of the old model.
Maruti Ignis is available for sale in the Indian market for 2 years. However, it did not get such a response in the market. For the last few months, Ignis has an average of 2,500 units per month, and this figure is much lower than that of Maruti's other cars.
Even after the production of Ignis 2018 being closed, the bookings are being accepted through dealerships and the company is also offering a discount of up to one lakh rupees. The company will launch Maruti Ignis this year in a new avatar. The car will be launched with a new make over It is being said that there will be no change in the engine of the new Ignis, but it can not be given a diesel engine anymore. Diesel engine demand was very low, due to which the company had already stopped production of its diesel variant.
