2019 Tata Hexa launches in India with new updates

Auto Desk| Tata Motors has placed its 2019 Hexa Edition into the Indian market. The starting price of the 2019 Tata Hexa SUV is Rs 12.99 lakh in India (ex-showroom, Delhi). Recently its price was increased, after which it has become the most expensive car of the company's lineup.

There are several updates to the 2019 Hexa SUV. These updates are specially provided in Hire Variants. XM, XMA, and XM + have a 7.0-inch touchscreen input system replacing the old 5.0-inch screen. Support for this new Infotainment system Android Auto will be available. Plus 10 new JBL speakers will be available here. This is the same Infotainment System, which has been recently given in the Tata Tiago XZ + variant.

- Hexa XE 4X2 (7 seater) - 12.99 lakhs

- Hexa XM 4X2 (7 seater) - 14.38 lacs

- Hexa XM + 4X2 (7 seater) - 15.46 lakhs

- Hexa XMA 4X2 (7 seater) - 15.62 lacs

- Hexa XT 4X2 (6/7 seater) - 17.03 lakhs

- Hexa XTA 4X2 (6/7 seater) - 18.19 lacs

- Hexa XT 4X4 (6/7 seater) - 18.36 lacs

Top variants - XT, XTA and XTA 4x4 have been given a much larger encoding system. A new dual-tone paint skim has been given in these higher-spec variants. Color skins on Tata Hexa can now be combined with two new roof finishing- Infinity Black and Titanium Gray.

In addition to the dual-tone paint skim, Tata Hexa's sales will continue with standard paint skim. These are five exterior colors - Urban Bronze, Arizona Blue, Sky Gray, Tungsten Silver and Pearl White. Tata Motors also updated the 2019 Hexa Wheels. The 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels are now given in the top spec variants. On the other hand, 16-inch charcoal gray alloy wheels have been given standard in base and mid-spec variants.

Talking about the interior profile, the 2019 Tata Hexa will now have access to the advanced chrome surroundings on the AC Vents and Infotainment Systems. Black finishing is given in the lower part of the steering wheel. Mechanically speaking, there has been no change in the 2019 Tata Hexa. It will get a 2.2-liter diesel engine as before. These engines generate power of 156bhp and torque of 400Nm. With this engine the option of 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox is available. The same engine will continue to be available in the base variant also. Although it has been tuned to give power of 150bhp and torque of 320Nm. Here standard 5-speed manual transmission will be available.
