Pakistani troops attacked army major and three Army jawans along the Line of Control in the Keri sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
“Major Moharkar Prafulla Ambadas, Lance Naik Gurmail Singh and Sepoy Pargat Singh were wounded during the encounter and faced injuries. Two other army staff got wounded and are currently facing medical treatment,” an army spokesperson stated.
The attack took place when Pakistani army embattled the Army patrol at Brat Galla in Keri sector. Nearly three soldiers were wounded lethally,” he stated.
As per source, two army personals have been going through medical treatment, the spokesman said.
Army general Ambadas was a native of Bhandara district in Maharashtra whereas Lance Naik Gurmail Singh was from Amritsar district in Punjab. Major Pargat Singh was from Karnal district in Haryana.
Army patrols along the LoC have been directed to take strict step to refuse getting trapped in ambushes or Border Action Team (BAT) proceedings by the Pakistani Special Forces.
