Mumbai : If you want to see Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra yet againthen there is good news for you. According to recent reports, actor Arjun Kapoor, who is set to be sharing screen space with uncle Anil Kapoor in Anees Bazmee's ‘Mubarakan’, will be pairing up with his first co-star Parineeti Chopra for the flick. Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra were last seen together in ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012), which marked the former’s Bollywood debut.
The makers have already approached Parineeti for the film and a source close to the development informed that she has given her nod to the project. However, this pairing isn’t the only interesting aspect of Mubaraka’s casting. The film will also bring chacha-bhatija Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor together on screen for the first time. Reportedly, the two will be reprising their real life roles as uncle and nephew in the film too.
The film is in its scripting stages and the makers are currently finalising other members of the cast. Shaukeen producers Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde have also been roped in to produce the venture. The film was earlier supposed to be directed by Milap Zaveri. However, things didn’t work out and post the success of Welcome Back, Anees Bazmee was roped in to direct it. A source from the industry revealed, “Parineeti has met the makers, but nothing has been finalised as yet.” Arjun is presently prepping for ‘Half Girlfriend’, in which he will star opposite Shraddha Kapoor.
