Delhi's Transport Minister Satyendra Jain on Wednesday said that an approach for application-based taxi administrations has been set up according to the high court's heading and depends on a formerly actualized premium transport administration arrangement.
"To manage the application based taxi administrations, we have arranged an approach. It depends on the strategy that was before made for premium transport administrations. The taxi administration supplier can't charge additional and take concealed costs. Everything must be proclaimed, no additional costs will be permitted," Jain said.
Jain additionally said the administration is wanting to introduce meters in all taxicabs and individuals will be charged by.
"The GPS establishment procedure is being talked about and will be concluded later," he included.
The Delhi Government has arranged an approach for application-based taxicab administrations like Ola and Uber for the national capital.
The approach will be sent to Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung for endorsement. Once endorsed, the approach will be advised by the Delhi Government.
As indicated by the approach, all application-based taxis will utilize by meter and inside the recommended toll endorsed by the legislature and there will be no additional charge and admission past the rate settled by the administration.
The workers will be educated about the duty to be made obligatory and GPS establishment is compulsory according to the approach.
After endorsement, the Delhi Government will counsel taxicab administration suppliers and different partners.
The strategy has been set up to check abnormalities by application based taxi administrations like Ola and Uber.
The Delhi High Court had as of late requested that the Delhi Government make an application based taxicab administrations approach.
The court said application based taxicab organizations will need to submit to the rates stipulated by the Delhi Government till the board turns out with its model law.
