Anurag Basu, who’s upcoming film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif is good to go to hit the theaters soon, recalled a rather interesting occurrence that occurred during the course of the movie. He needed to ensure that the crowd on the streets of Morocco wouldn’t hamper the shoot of the melody ‘Ullu Ka Patha’.
Discussing the incident a crew member said, “For a scene in the tune ‘Ullu Ka Patha’, the film’s leading stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif needed to dance on the streets of Morocco. To break down the sort of attention they would gather while taping, Anurag and his assistants started dancing on the street. To their surprise, a crowd instantly gathered to watch them perform.”
The source additionally said how Basu chosen to leverage on the crowd’s attntion and presence, “Ranbir assumes the part of a detective and the scene required him to ask for money from strangers. So, on the day of the shoot, Anurag made him really beg. He transformed Ranbir into a ‘bhikari’.”
