RALEGAN SIDDHI: Anna Hazare has said he is "exceptionally disheartened to see" that some of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's associates have gone to imprison, while some others are "enjoying misrepresentation".

"I am exceptionally hurt…When he (Kejriwal) was with me, he composed a book on gram swaraj…Will we call this gram swaraj? That is the reason I am exceptionally miserable. The trust with which I was taking a gander at him (Kejriwal) is over," he said.

His comments come against the background of the capture of AAP MLA Sandeep Kumar who has been blamed by a lady for having assaulted her.

36-year-old Kumar, who was sacked as a minister by the Delhi government in the wake of the allegation, was on Monday remanded in three-day police care by a court.

Hazare said he had before told Kejriwal, "You are going to wander the world in the wake of dispatching your gathering. You will hold arouses in the nation for the same, yet in what manner will you discover that the general population who join your gathering have a decent character or not?

"He (Kejriwal) did not have a response for that. I can encounter it today. I had said this before additionally, be it any gathering or pioneer, it is important to check if the general population who join a gathering have a spotless character or not."

Hazare told a TV news channel, "Arvind has been with me for a long time. I was exceptionally cheerful for Arvind. I was trusting that he will set an alternate case for governmental issues in India furthermore that he will give an alternate heading to the country."

He said, "I felt that way, yet I am exceptionally disheartened to see what his partners are doing. Some are going to prison, some are enjoying extortion."
