Angry Mob set fire to the train bogies of South Bihar Express


Patna:  A group of students on Friday evening torched two bogies of South Bihar express after one of their friends died while trying to cross the rail tracks. Locals came out in protest on the tracks, obstructing the movement of the train. The incident took place at Rajendra Nagar terminal in Patna.

The police had arrived at the scene to aid in the clearing of the tracks but, they were attacked by the angry protesters who tossed stones at the officers. The train was left stranded for two hours.

So far, no casualties have been reported. All passengers were detrained before the coaches were torched.
