Andy Rubin’s Essential phone price slashed by $200


Andy Rubin essential cellphone price has been cut by $200. Now, the cellphone is available at $499 (approx Rs 32,443). The company unveiled handset in the month of August in 2017.

“And to thank our early supporters who already own an Essential Phone, we’re offering a $200 friends & family code to use on our website towards Essential 360 Camera or another Essential Phone,” stated Niccola de Masi, the president of Essential.

The price of cellphone has been cut to challenge iPhone X and Google Pixel XL 2 smartphones. The cellphone didn’t get a great reaction in terms of trade. As per firm BayStreet Research, just 5000 units of Essential phones have been trade in US.

Andy Rubin declared about this deal for its initial purchasers too. It is applicable only last by December 17, 2017 where purchasers will receive $200 friends and family credit.

The essential cellphone boasts titanium and ceramic body. It comes with 5.7-inch LTPS edge-to-edge display and involves dual camera on the rear end. The handset is powered by a 2.45 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that comes with Adreno 540 GPU, 4GB RAM. The handset involves 128 GB internal storage and involves 3040mAh battery. The cellphone has a price tag of $699.
