NEW DELHI/ANAND: Home-grown food brand Amul is all set to sell its products in US through online platform Amazon.
Beginning with Amul Ghee, the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets mark Amul, will along these lines offer different items through this restrictive relationship in the US where it has been sending out since the most recent 20 years.
"Amul has been sending out its items to the USA since most recent 20 years and has been offering through the conventional retail channel there. With this affiliation we are hoping to grow our range to a more extensive gathering of people in the US and open new entryways for our business with internet offering," said Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation R S Sodhi.
Amul's Ghee and Gulab Jamun are among the top rated items in the US showcase with ghee right now being positioned as one of the top stock keeping units on Amazon in the 'Spread and Margarine' classification.
Amazon's Global Selling Program was propelled in India in May a year ago. It encourages access for Indian merchants – including business people, SMEs, makers and in addition expansive brands – to offer their items to shoppers over the globe.
