Amritsar: 58-yr-old man stabbed to death by neighbours


Amritsar: Late on Monday night a 58-yr-old man was stabbed to death by four of his neighbors in Amritsar village.

The occurrence took place in Gharindi village throughout an oral fight between the victim Amrik Singh and his neighbours. Fatality’s nephew Rasal Singh further conveyed the police that Amrik had an enmity with Mahinder Singh, Pargat Singh, Gursahib and Khazan Singh for the previous few years.

On Monday night, the indicted arrived at the fatality’s house and commenced violating him. His nephew further conveyed the police that one of the indicted assaulted Amrik with a brick whereas another stabbed him with a knife and ran away.

Police arrived at the spot and sent fatality’s body for postmortem. An investigation has been commenced to detain the accused. Officer inspector Sukhraj further added that a case of murder has been registered next to all the indicted.
