Washington. An official said The United States have agreed to join as a partner country in The Vibrant Gujarat summit going to held next year in January.
US’s assistant secretary of state for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Desai Biswal made this announcement at a meeting held with Gujarat delegation arrived on a visit to the US on Thursday.
The meeting with Gujrat Delegation was held in the presence of Gujarat’s resident commissioner in New Delhi Bharat Lal and accompanied by Indian charge d’Affaires Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu on 15 September.
He said, “They announced that the US wants to participate as a partner country 'Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit of 2017’. This is the global conference held every two years by Gujarat government. The country leaders, investors, industrialists and policy makers participate in this summit. "
