American maker AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) has now unveiled the new microprocessor chips AMD ‘Ryzen Pro’ for commercial usage like for business PCs and is accessible in India and other nations by the end of year.
At the launch, all main desktop manufacturers HP, Dell and Lenovo introduced new workstations using Ryzen Pro to meet the today’s user demand. HP’s Elitedesk 705 G3, Dell’s Optiplex 5055 and Lenovo’s ThinkCentre M715/Thinkpad A 275 and A475 are lined up worldwide afterward this month.
AMD senior vice president Jim Anderson also conveyed that this is a significant year for AMD. The new microprocessor chip is for commercial desktop and is powerful, secure and reliable.
Talking about the features, the new Ryzen Pro is an 8 core and 16 threads CPU. The Ryzen line up processors unveiled for users PCs is having share of the top rivals and Ryzen Pro will assist grab more share in the commercial area in India.
Anderson further added that AMD business share is in consumer PC segment and with Ryzen Pro it aspires to have share from business.
