Amarnath attack: Home Minister Rajnath Singh to hold high-level meeting today


A day after terrorists assaulted Amarnath Yatra travelers, Union Home Minister Rajanth Singh has assembled high-level meeting at 10 AM at his home on Tuesday. As indicated by the reports, the meeting will be held to talk about the security plans for the pilgrims after savage assault which slaughtered seven individuals and harmed nineteen.

NSA Ajit Doval, senior MHA authorities, Intelligence Bureau and R&AW’s boss are relied upon to be available at the meeting.

In the interim, the Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra has additionally assembled an emergency meeting  at 11 AM today to talk about the security courses of action.

Prior on Monday, in an uncommon assault on the Amarnath Yatra, terrorists killed seven travelers and harmed 14 others, including policemen, when they struck at a bus conveying them.

The bus was attacked in Batengoo around 8.20 PM while coming back from Baltal to Mir Bazar after darshan, Jammu and Kashmir police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) said.
