The Maoists attacked 212 battalion group soldiers of Ajmer center-1 in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. The incident takes the lives of nine jawans and wounded two others.
As per the reports, the attack killed head constable of Alwar district of Rajasthan Lakshman Yadav on Tuesday. The encounter happened for the second time in Chhattisgarh in 11 months.
A resident of Sunderwadi village in Munda, Laxman, had gone on duty on Monday after spending time with their family. Lakshman Singh’s wife and children live in Alwar while his father Asharam died six months back.
Laxman’s family and relatives were heartbroken on getting the information whereas villagers also grieve the demise. The soldier’s body is likely to come up to his village Sundarwadi for funeral today
