Alia Bhatt on working with Ranveer and Ranbir

Alia Bhatt has been taking a long and much-needed break from Bollywood after giving three consecutive hits a year ago and with ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ this year. ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Kapoor and Sons’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’ performed remarkably well in the cinematic world and her performances in the motion pictures were applauded by all.

She is presently setting herself up for ‘Calling Sehmat’ with Meghna Gulzar, trailed by Ayan Mukerji’s “Dragon’ inverse Ranbir Kapoor, and Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ inverse Ranveer Singh. Bagging two big budget films inverse the leading new age stars of Bollywood is quite an achievement for any budding actor.

Talking about her pairing with Ranveer Singh, she told a leading daily, ” Ranveer is a a complete crackpot. I have worked with him in ads, and I think I have an idea regarding what shooting is going to be like. I’m excited because Gully Boy is an emotional story, and our characters are very interesting, so it will be unique combination. I have always wanted to work with Zoya (Akhtar), who I believe is totally fab. This year, I am working with two on-screen characters and two directors who I’ve always wanted to work with. ”

Since Bollywood has had a few superhero motion pictures previously, which have barely figured out how to earn box-office number, it is guessed that even “Dragon” may tank with regards to the audience. However, Alia Bhatt had a different opinion about the motion picture, ” It’s not a predictable story. All I can tell you is that “Dragon” is a one of a kind story about love, mixed with a great deal of power. It’s too soon to uncover who has what superpower. But, it’s not a thriller. I don’t know whether we have seen anything like “Dragon” ever before. That’s the beauty of the film. ”

Most of the new-age actresses have tried their hands into action sequences, however Alia has left that genre untouched. On being asked about having some action sequences in ‘Dragon’, she stated, ” Yeah, I will have action scenes in the film. It’s not mindless, but serious action. I would thoroughly love to do an action film where I get the chance to kick butt. “Dragon” isn’t that film but maybe, a more fantasised version of it. ”

She likewise uncovered how “Dragon” will be a three-part series which will spread throughout the next 10 years, ” Yes, we plan to make it as a three-part series. About the span of 10 years, no one but Ayan can discuss it. If that is the thing that he has stated, then maybe that’s the plan. “
