Ajmer: New exit gate at railway station to ease traffic

AJMER: The railways had planned to introduce a new exit gate towards Tadpora, at the backside of the railway station, looking at the growing traffic on station road. The officials of railway ministry and Ajmer Development Authority (ADA) on Thursday inspected the area to construct a link road towards Shrinagar road to move this project ahead. According to the railway officials the new project will help to divert the traffic of the city.
The region selected for the link road where the railways to agreed to give land under the possession of railways if it was required was inspected thoroughly by the expert teams of railways and ADA, “The main aim is to construct this link road according to the future plans,” Shiv Shanker Heda, chairman of ADA was quoted as saying. He further added that at present the condition of station road is terrific and people need to have diversion. Railway Divisional Manager Punit Chawla affirmed all support for the development of Ajmer.
