New Delhi : Dharmpal Natkhat, a Dalit member of the Congress, said on Monday that the party`s Delhi unit President Ajay Maken abused and threatened him. Dharampal Natkhat has filed a complaint against him in New Delhi's Gole market area. Recalling the sequence of events which led to this episode, Natkhat told that he had come to meet Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on his 46th birthday.
"I told him (Rahul) my son died and I am a party worker, but Ajay Maken ji didn't visit my place. Rahul ji asked Ajay ji to visit my place. He (Ajay Maken) thought I was complaining against him. He called me after half-an-hour and started abusing me," Natkhat said.
Meanwhile he said he complained about Maken`s misbehaviour to Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, Later, he got a call from Maken, who threatened him, Natkhat alleged. He said he has recorded Maken`s conversation with him but cannot tell the exact words the Congress leader spoke to him.
