Air India Plane hit aerobridge at Mumbai Chattrapati Shivaji Airport


The incident happened on Friday when Air India flight was travelling from Mumbai to Riyadh collided with an aerobridge at Mumbai’s Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport.

The collision occurred when flight, AI 922 Riyadh-Mumbai was taking take off to release approximately 330 passengers.

The plane had got prolonged damage to its rotar blades on the left wing.

No casualties have been found either among the operators, the ground staff and the passengers. The left engine sustained minor damage and the Boeing 777-300 airplane has been towed away to a hangar for repairs.

The images have been tweeted by news agency ANI which showcased a big dent on the plane’s left wing.
