New Delhi: Ringing Bells, which launched the world’s cheapest smartphone Freedom 251 is set to launch several new devices, including Freedom HD LED TV. The company has already sent out media invites for the same. he company on July 7 will launch the Freedom TV with LED screen and HD resolution, probably at a price that would make consumers sit up and take a look.
Meanwhile the company will be reportedly launching two smartphones – Elegant and Elegance, along with the Freedom HD LED TV. Ringing Bells Elegant will likely feature a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. It will be powered by an unspecified quad-core processor paired with1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card. The dual-sim handset will probably have an 8MP rear camera and a 3.2MP selfie camera. Battery capacity will be around 2,500mAh battery and the phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The device will likely fall in the price range of Rs 3,999.
Ringing Bells Elegance will reportedly sport a metal body design with chrome finish and 4G support. Other specifications will be the same as Elegant, and the phone will be priced around Rs 4,499.
Along with the two smartphones, Ringing Bells will reportedly also introduce its first HD LED TV. The LED TV will be the cheapest in its class, when compared to similar existing options in the market. As per rumours, the device is expected to be priced around Rs 10,000 and will be sold online.
Recently, a report claimed that Ringing Bells will start the deliveries of its Freedom 251 smartphone from July 7. The company's CEO said that they are trying to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi for getting support under the Make in India initiative.
