The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) out the admit cards of Stenographer (Grade C and D) examination 2017 for three regions.
The admit cards out for Western region (Mumbai), Madhya Pradesh region and Central region. The exam will be conducted from September 11 to September 14 at different test centers crossways the country.

- Time duration will be two hours and will carry 200 marks
- There will be 50 questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning carrying 50 marks, 50 questions on General Awareness carrying 50 marks and 100 questions on English Language and Comprehension carrying 100 marks
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was set up in November 4, 1975. The organization works under the Administration of India and recruits staff for numerous posts in the different Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in subordinate offices. It is headquartered at New Delhi. Recently there are seven regional offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh.
