Have you seen those "viral" photographs of Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra's seven-month-old child baby girl Adira? They're adorable. But unfortunately, they’re also fake..
Why is the web so mean?
Just when it seemed Rani had finally decided to share the first pictures of her baby, the Bollywood actress’ representative clarified that Rani was not on any social media platform. The pictures were shared by an Instagram account ‘iamranichopra’, which Rani, clearly, does not operate.
An statement issued from the actress side expressed that there are numerous fake records that keep springing up for the sake of the Mardaani on-screen character.
"This is to advise you that Rani Mukerji is not on any online networking stage and has never been. There are a few fake records that keep springing up. We might want to demand you to not pay any regard to them or the substance they set up as it is all fake," Rani's spokeperson said in an statement.
Meanwhile, with these photos of Adira now being deemed fake, we can no longer access the ‘iamranichopra’ account on Instagram, either.
Rani and Aditya, in a relationship for long, got hitched in April 2014 in Italy. The couple welcomed their first girl on 9 December 2015
