Ex-Bigg Boss participator Mandana Karimi lodged a domestic violence case against her husband on Tuesday. She tied knot with her boyfriend Gaurav Gupta in January 2017.
As per Mandana, she met with Gaurav in year 2012 to make her career in modelling and acting. Later, the duo fall in love and got engaged in July 2016.
In her complaint, Mandana has written that she was being told to not pursue modeling after wedding.
After the marriage, things became worst when Mandana was not allowed to enter her home. The model even suffered harassment by her mother-in-law.
Seven weeks back, Mandana was being barred from her matrimonial house. She attempted to settle with them but her in-laws didn’t permit her back.
Mandana also stated that she was jibed and not permitted to meet her friends. Currently, she is living in a service apartment.
Now, the investigation into the matter has been started by Mandana’s lawyer in a court. The actress even required a monthly maintenance of Rs 10 lakh and a compensation of Rs. 2 crore.
As per the reports, the case will be announced on July 15 at Andheri metropolitan court.
On Instagram, she shared a quote which stated that, “Love isn’t a reason to tolerate disrespect”.
