Actress-model Mandana Karimi files domestic violence case against her husband


Performing artist and model Mandana Karimi who got married this year in January to Gaurav Gupta, whom she dated for quite some time before getting hitched has filed a case of domestic violence against him. The ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3’ performing artist in her announcement has said that she met Gaurav through a common companion when she came to India in 2012 to pursue a career in acting.  In addition to the above statement, Mandana even said that she was asked to quit her career after marriage.

The announcement additionally reads that things became ugly when Mandana was barred from going into her home. She has also alleged harassment by her mother-in-law.

Mandana was thrown out of her matrimonial house 7 weeks prior. She tried to reconcile with them but her in-laws didn’t permit her back. She has likewise claimed that she was insulted and not permitted to meet her companions. She is currently staying in a service apartment.

Mandana’s lawyer has detailed that the matter is presently in court and they would contest it according to law. She has sought a monthly maintenance of Rs 10 lakh and a compensation of Rs. 2 crore. The case will come up for hearing on July 15 before Andheri metropolitan court. Gaurav, who owns a post-production organization, couldn’t be contacted.
