Actress Alia Bhatt after performing ‘hatke’ roles in movie “Udta Punjab” and ‘Highway’, she is now planning to do "massive masala movies".
According to a report, Alia Bhatt said, "I want to make this very clear. I don't want to be one of those actors who are identified with one genre of cinema. Of course, I want to do realistic films, but I also want to do films that are completely the opposite. I want to do massive masala movies."
23 yr old actress said, "I want to do an out-and-out comedy where I get to try out my comic timing. People feel that 'Shaandaar' was a comedy movie of mine, but I never saw the film as comedy."
Currently, she is shooting for upcoming film 'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya' with lead actor Varun Dhawan. The movie will be second for Alia in KJo’s 'Dulhaniya' franchise.
"It's like a family reunion. Trust me, apart from the same faces, there's no similarity between 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Badrinath Ki Dhulaniya’. It's interesting to be a part of a love franchise; we've never had that before," she said.
Apart from Badrinath Ki Dhulaniya she will be seen in Gauri Shinde's movie 'Dear Zindagi'. The film is scheduled to release on November 25. It has starcast Shah Rukh Khan, Ali Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor and Angad Bedi.
