250 grams cottage cheese
1/2 teaspoon jeera
2 teaspoon saunf
1 teaspoon rai
1 teaspoon kalonji
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon methi dana
pinch of hing
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
75 ml tomato puree
1 green bell pepper
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 yellow bell pepper
1 teaspoon crushed kasuri methi
½ cup fresh chopped coriander
salt to taste
1 tablespoon Saffola oil
1-2 green chillies soaked in 1 tsp of lime juice
Steps to cook-
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Now add cumin seeds, saunf, rai, kalonji and hing.
Saute for a minute and then add haldi and methi dana. Stir it for 30 seconds and further add ginger garlic paste
Add tomato puree. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes until the oil leaves the sides of the pan.
Now add the cubed paneer and salt to taste. Stir gently to coat well.
Add the peppers, crushed kasuri methi and ½ the fresh coriander and simmer for 5 mins more.
Garnish it with chopped green chillies and fresh coriander.
Serve the achari paneer masala with tandoori rotis or naan!
