Mumbai : Cricketers and Bollywood celebrities jointly play a football match on Saturday. Actor Abhishek Bachchan said he would have loved to have his "Dostana" co-star John Abraham in his football team.Virat Kohli Foundation has joined hands with Abhishek Bachchan's 'Playing for Humanity' for a charity football match.
Abhishek's team will have actors like Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shoojit Sircar, Ranbir Kapoor among others. "We would love to have John Abraham in our team, he is good at football. But he is busy with his work," Abhishek told reporters here.
The team headed by Virat consists of cricketers like M S Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane among others. "The first time when I decided to do this we announced that the proceeds will go to the foundation.
The aim of this game is to to help the underprivileged. We wanted to raise funds for the underprivileged, it's a serious issue," Virat said. "I am glad these guys (Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor and other Bollywood celebrities) have come together for this," he added.
The match will take place at the Mumbai Football Arena, Andheri Sports Complex.
