KOLKATA: In context of Abesh Dasgupta’s death, a Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) team on Wedneday visited the Sunny Park residential complex of Kolkata where Abesh Dasgupta was brutally wounded after being allegedly hit by an alcohol bottle.
On Wednesday afternoon, the CFSL team went to the complex to accumulate all the evidences related to his death, Kolkata Police Joint Commissioner (Crime) Visal Garg said.
He further added that, proof was also collected from the CCTV footage.
CFSL team also interrogated the driver of one of the residents of the upscale complex who was present there at the time of the incident, Mr Garg said.
On Wednesday, Abesh's family members, including his uncle Suresh Thakkar also went to Kolkata Police headquarter at Lalbazar to get the information about investigation.
After collecting information from the CCTV footage, police revealed that the boy died due to injuries he suffered after falling from a small wall in the lawn of the Sunny Park residential complex on July 23.
Family members of 17-yr old teenager declined to agree that it was a case of murder.
Mother of the victim ‘Rimjhim Dasgupta’ also met with Mamata Banerjee to get the justice. He even added that the Chief Minister had promised to provide help.
