New Delhi: Yesterday ABB India Ltd reported a 38 per cent gains in net profit at Rs 76 crore for the June quarter on the back of superior sales. The corporation further stated in a regulatory filing to the BSE that, profit stood at Rs 55 crore in the similar quarter of the preceding fiscal.
It follows January-December as its economic year. Sales throughout the quarter reached at Rs 2,329.3 crore, registering an augment of 6 per cent. Total expenses augmented to Rs 2,275.5 crore, from Rs 2,168 crore in the year-before period.
It further added that, lean management, relentless pursuit of cash over revenue, and same initiatives as part of operational excellence yielded savings. Managing Director Sanjeev Sharma also conveyed that, ABB India Ltd supplied another quarter of all-round expansion at a time of several transitions.
