AAP MLAs assault Kapil Mishra inside Delhi Assembly


On Wednesday, A high level drama took place outside the Delhi Assembly after sacked minister Kapil Mishra was dragged and allegedly assaulted by few AAP MLAs after he held out a banner raising allegations of corruption against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Satyendra Jain.

Prior, the session which intended to pass the GST Bill for the Capital commenced with a happy note with ministers and MLAs putting their point about the express government’s accomplishments this year. Situated in the second column, rebel minister Mishra stayed strong with a flag in his grasp leveling defilement allegations against Kejriwal and Jain, and making a request to sort out an uncommon session in Ramlila Maidan. As he talked, a couple AAP MLAs assaulted Mishra. He was dragged and choked by few of them.

As the scuffle continued, Speaker of the Assembly Ram Niwas Goel directed the marshal to take Mishra out. “Please take him out of the assembly. This is no way to behave in the session. Maintain the decorum of the assembly,” Goel said as Mishra was thrown out of the session. Later, Goel adjourned the House, for 15 minutes

As the fight proceeded with, Speaker of the Assembly Ram Niwas Goel guided the marshal to take Mishra out. “It would be ideal if you remove him from the get together. This is no real way to carry on in the session. Keep up the etiquette of the gathering,” Goel said as Mishra was tossed out of the session. Afterward, Goel suspended the House, for 15 minutes

Once outside, Mishra said he was assaulted by AAP individuals who were incensed at his battle against Delhi boss priest Arvind Kejriwal and other gathering pioneers. “I was not allowed to talk in the House, so I made an interest for a unique session to be called at Ramlila Maidan. All of a sudden, they (AAP officials) hurried at me… they pushed me, pulverize me on the trunk and some of them kicked me from behind. Jarnail Singh and Madal Lal were among the MLAs who assaulted me,” Mishra asserted.

This is not the first time the sacked minister has been at the receiving end of violence. Recently, he was assaulted by an affirmed ‘AAP supporter’ at his living arrangement while holding a hunger strike.

Mishra has levelled numerous allegations against the AAP top brass. He had claimed to have witnessed Kejriwal accepting Rs 2 crore in cash from senior party leader Satyendar Jain, who had also allegedly settled a Rs 7.5 crore property deal for the Delhi chief minister’s kin.
