Jaisalmer: A part of exterior wall of Jaisalmer fort got damaged on Thursday which was being restored by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). No casualties have been reported yet. The reports revealed that at the time of incident the workers had gone for lunch and there were no tourists or local residents at the site.

ASI Conservation Assistant Prem Chand told The Hindu from Jaisalmer on Friday that, “The free sand of three-foot thickness under the divider slid amid the preservation work when the divider was being reset.
