8 injured in France after train hits fallen tree


France: Eight people have been critically wounded subsequent to a French traveler train collided with a fallen tree deracinated during a hailstorm. The regional TER train, moving 219 travelers, crashed at Lunel, between Nimes and Montpellier in the south of France.

Rail machinist SNCF conveys the train was travelling at 87mph at the time. One person was supposedly thrown from the train during the crash and 50 others suffered slight injuries or shock.
