8 districts in Haryana to be declared kerosene-free , says Manohar Lal Khattar

To mark the celebrations of Haryana’s Golden Jubilee on November 1, eight districts in Haryana, including Panipat, would be declared kerosene-free, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said.

“The entire state would be made kerosene-free in the second phase of this ambitious programme and grants would be given to poor families for taking gas connections, Khattar said.

The meeting of officers was held by Chief Minister in Panipat late last evening, a Haryana government said.

Moreover, Khattar asserted that the economic condition of the state is better in comparison to the neighbouring states.

“Economic condition of Haryana is better as compared to the neighbouring states. This was possible due to the ‘capable ministers and Administrative secretaries’,” Khattar said.

He further added that, “the officers should get speedy and transparent implementation of development projects.”
