NEW DELHI: Nearly Seven coaches of Howrah-Jabalpur-Shaktipunj Express in Uttar Pradesh went off the track on Thursday. As per the reports, no one got wounded or died in the tragedy.
The reports revealed that Shaktipunj Express coaches derailed close to Obra in Uttar Pradesh.
For the third time, the incident of train derailment has come to limelight in UP.
At Least 22 people lost their lives and 150 wounded on August 19 following derailment of 13 coaches of the Utkal Express train.
Nearly 100 passengers were wounded as 10 coaches of the Kaifiyat Express derailed following accident with dumper shipping construction material for railway work. The incident took place few days after the derailment of Utkal Express train.
Apart from it, four coaches of a goods train went off the railway track close to Hardattpur railway station in Uttar Pradesh on September 2.
On 29 August, Mumbai bound Duronto Express derailed near Titwala district of Maharashtra due to heavy rainfall.
