A five-year-old kid passed on after falling into an open borewell at a town in Sehore area, a senior authority said today.
The kid, Satya, fell into the surrendered borewell at Ramnagar town last night and stalled out at a profundity of around 25 feet.
As the news of the occurrence reached the district headquarters, the safeguard operation was begun quickly.
