Atleast 5 villagers Dead In First East Niger Boko Haram Attack, the first in three months completed there by the jihadist group, a local governor said Saturday.
Legislative leader of the Diffa outskirt locale, Dan Dano Mahaman Laouali, told Niger open radio the assault occurred on Friday in Toumour.
It is the principal assault in the east since early June when Boko Haram dispatched a noteworthy hostile in Bosso, a town in Niger close to the outskirt with Nigeria and Chad, before being pushed back by the military.
