On June 3, 1973, the Shehenshah of Bollywood got his Begum when the ‘angry young man’ Amitabh Bachchan got married with the extremely talented Jaya Bhaduri. The rest as they say is history.
On the occasion of their 44th marriage anniversary, Big B took to social media to recollect the memory of the Big day and said that he is “loaded with love.”
“June 3, 1973 .. 44 years of marriage .. thank you all for the wishes you send .. thankful and loaded with love,” he tweeted.

The “Piku” performing artist even took to his Blog to express, “and as I set out from “Mangal” a leased place of mine in JVPD scheme, seventh Road .. in my recently acquired second hand Pontiac Sports, 2 door, with Ma and Babuji with me .. my driver Nagesh, now passed away, demanding driving me to an apartment of Jaya’s family companion at Malabar Hill .. on the third of June 1973, a couple drops of rain started to fall .. our neighbor ran out of their house and excitedly shouted to us .. ‘hurry to the wedding, its raining, a good omen. …Its been 44 years since ..”
