4 Year Old Dies As Drunk Father Drops Her From Bridge


This 30-year-old didn’t give an idea to how his drinking could be damaging to her health; and he lost her – his four-year-old little girl. The Virar occupant, his wife and their baby were headed home in the small hours of Wednesday in the wake of going to a wedding capacity.

An inebriated Nilesh Satvi, who was singing and lurching along, had the baby Gauri on his shoulders, when he lost adjust while crossing a bridge, and both fell under it. Gauri, who first hit rocks, got smashed to death on the spot after Nilesh fell on her. The father managed minor wounds.

Sources said the episode happened close Thadacha Pada in Saivaan town close Mandvi around 2.30 am on Wednesday.

Nilesh, his better half and girl Gauri were strolling back to their town in the wake of going to a relative’s wedding. Nilesh, who was tanked, had Gauri on his shoulders, while his better half was a couple of feet behind them. While crossing a small bridge near Thadacha Pada, he lost his balance, and both he and Gauri plunged 20 feet under the bridge.

Gauri fell in the first place, hitting her head on the stones below, and later, got squashed under Nilesh, who fell on her a few moments later. She died on the spot because of various wounds to her head and chest, while Nilesh managed minor wounds.

When Nilesh’s better half observed the two fall, she shouted for help; a couple of passers-by rushed to her hospital, going down and bringing the father and daughter up and taking them to a doctor’s facility in Mandvi.

Researching officer in the case assistant inspector SB Dhone said, “Gauri fell on the rocks. When Nilesh fell on her, her skull and rib cage got fractured, blood oozing from her ears and nose; she died on the spot. He sustained minor injuries as the girl cushioned him.”

Nilesh was given release after treatment, said an officer from Virar police headquarters, including, “An unplanned demise report has been enlisted. The body was given over to the guardians after a post-mortem examination.”
