Srinagar: Terrorists assault BSF camp, 3 security officials wounded
Srinagar: Terrorists in the wee hours of Tuesday carried a ‘fidayeen’ assault on the Border Security Forces (BSF) camp situated close to Srinagar International airport. In the attack 1 militant was killed and three other security officials were wounded.
Director General of Police SP Vaid also conveyed that the suspected terrorist was not yet identified. BSF authorities further stated that the firing is still underway.
They further added that the suicide assault occurred between terrorists and security officials at about 4.00 am. The militants holed within the building campus of the 182nd Battalion camp.
Security officials further added that Srinagar International Airport functioning have been suspended as the exchange of firing between security officials and terrorists had breached into the 182 battalion headquarters of BSF situated in Gogoland.
At Least 59 dead in mass shooting at Las Vegas
Las Vegas: Nearly 59 people died and over 200 wounded in a firing that took place on Monday at a music concert. The cops later attacked the attacker. As per Las Vegas Metro Police Sheriff Joseph Lombardo, the death toll may increase.
The attacker started gunfire at 10.30 p.m on Sunday into the outside music festival from the 32nd floor of Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino at the time when singer Jason Aldean was performing during the concert. The accused was found as 64-year-old local resident Stephen Paddock.
US President Donald Trump shared a tweet showing his kindness to those trapped in the Las Vegas attack.
“My heartfelt pity and empathy to the individuals and kins of the dreadful Las Vegas gunfire. God bless you!,” he wrote. As per Lombardo, Off-duty police officers lost their lives while two other officials were also sent to the hospital for treatment.
“We listen to what sounded like firecrackers started off. After that, suddenly we heed what sounded like a machine gun. Individual began shouting that they were strike … when we began coming out there were possibly a pair hundred on the ground,” affirmed Meghan Kearney.
“Individuals kept dropping and dropping … People were getting shot one foot away from us,” another victim said. “They were trying to save their friends. There were firing everywhere. Assisting them would’ve meant that we got gunned down too.” It added.

Bengal Warriors thrashes Jaipur Pink Panthers by 32-31 in Pro Kabaddi tournament
Bengal Warriors team thrashes Jaipur Pink Panthers with a 32-31 win over in the Inter Zone Challenge Week of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 2017 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai. Bengal Warrior’s star player Maninder Singh scored 16 points and led the team to win.
Jaipur Pink Panthers also performed well but fail to defeat the opponent. Bengal Warrior’s Maninder scored 16 points and a bonus point in the last minute and led team to win. Jaipur Pink Panther’s player Pawan Kumar also scored 14 points for the team but his efforts went in vain.
Bengal Warriors with the win now positioned second in Zone B table with 64 points from 19 games whereas Jaipur Pink Panthers with 44 points from 15 games are now placed fifth in Zone A table. Pink Panthers Pawan Kumar raid and scored points for the team and led the team 2-0 in the second minute.
Bengal Warriors in the fifth minute equaled the score board by 3-3. Tushar Patil raid and scored points for Jaipur in the 9th minute and led by 6-5 d. For Bengal Maninder and Deepak Narwal raid and scored 3 points each in the first half.
