28-yr old wife of a Pro Kabbadi League star allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her home at Nangloi in West Delhi on Monday.

The name of the victim has been found as Lalita. Before committing suicide she had written a two-page suicide note with audio recording. She took this step as her husband forced her for dowry.

“A case of dowry death and cruelty has been registered against Lalita’s husband, his father and mother at the Nangloi police station,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Vijay Kumar said.
