Varanasi : Tensed situation after violence by BHU Campus students
VARANASI: In context of eve teasing, BHU campus students carried out protest on Sunday that later changed into violence.
It started after a woman student of the Arts Faculty was allegedly sexually assaulted by three motorcycle-borne men within the campus when she was coming back to her hostel on Thursday. The authorities have suggested to shuts down the campus. Now, the classes will get start on October 3.
During the lathi charge, nearly seven students involving girls, two journalists wounded. On Sunday, police made efforts to control the situation.
On Saturday night, the striking candidates made efforts to reach to the vice chancellor’s residence when they were allegedly beaten.
The students of campus threw petrol bombs and continued to brick-batting. In the incident, several policemen got wounded.
UP CM Aditya Nath Yogi has demanded a report from divisional commissioner Nitin Gokarn. The police arrested UP Congress Committee chief Raj Babbar and former Congress MP PL Punia earlier and freed them later on. On Sunday, security forces carried out a flag march.
Several other universities involving Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Sampurnanand Sanskrit University affiliated with BHU would remain shut till October 2.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav wrote on Twitter, “The government should resolve the issue by talks, not by lathicharge. It is condemnable. Action should be taken against the guilty.”
Gunman opens firing at Nashville church, One dead, six wounded
USA: A woman died on Sunday morning by a masked gunman in the parking lot area of a Tennessee church. It injured nearly six worshipers within the building ahead of shooting himself in a fight.
The accused has been found as Emanuel Kidega Samson, 25. He entered into the Nashville’s Burnette Chapel Church of Christ by adorning a ski mask and started gunfire on people.
Since the church usher fight with the accused, he was hit in the head with the gunman’s weapon ahead of the accused gunfire and injured himself, police affirmed. Though wounded, 22 yr old usher Robert Engle, then takes out a gun from his vehicle.
“This is an exceptionally brave individual,” Aaron affirmed.
The cops had not resolute the cause behind the gunfire, however the spokesman affirmed several items were recovered that might tell why the suspect started gunfire.
Suspect Samson was given medical attention at a local hospital and freed later. The police officials have filed case of murder against him.
In the parking lot, Melanie Smith, 39, of Smyrna, Tennessee were fired. The woman was recovered lying beside the accuser’s blue sport utility vehicle.
Cops affirmed, it was not straight away identified whether the accused had any preceding link with the church. The incident took place when 50 people were worshipping at the church.

As per the reports, the film will be produced by Phantom films. The film will be directed by Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena.
Kabir Khan has directed several films involving ‘New York’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Tubelight’. This will be his totally different film from rest of the movies.
Film ‘Padmavati’ is likely to hit the theatres this year.

Tamil Thalaivas on Sunday crushes Bengal Warriors with a 33-32 win over in the fifth edition of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 2017. Tamil Thalaiva’s star player Ajay Thakur managed to score 2 points in the last minute of the match and led the team to win.
