LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today suspended Additional District Magistrate and City Magistrate of Varanasi on charges of forsakenness of obligation over the rush occurrence there, which guaranteed 25 lives.
Extra District Magistrate (ADM), City Vindhyavasini Raj and City Magistrate B Singh posted in Varanasi have been suspended for abandonment of obligation, an official representative said here.
Varanasi Superintendent of Police City Sudhakar Yadav, SP Traffic Kamal Kishore, Kotwali Circle Officer Rahul Mishra, Station Officer of Ramnagar police headquarters, Anil Kumar Singh and responsible for Mughalsarai police headquarters in Chandauli region and Sub-reviewer Vinod Yadav were suspended yesterday.
