Company Idea Cellular on Friday alleged that said it has raised interconnect capacity for Reliance Jio by 230 per cent, but the company said its subscribers still faced 75 per cent call breakdown while doing attempt to associate with the network of the incumbent player.

"Idea has now provisioned 1,865 ports for access, from 565 prior – a 230 for every penny increment in limit. All the while, the (national long separation administration limit is additionally being extended by about 50 for each penny," Idea said in an announcement.
"With this tremendous limit extension, more than 2,100 ports will now be accessible for movement amongst Idea and Jio, permitting adequate support for the future," the occupant player included.
Later in an announcement, Jio said, "More than 750 calls for each 1,000 were coming up short every day amongst Idea and Jio systems, which means 4 crore calls falling flat every day."
"More than 12 crore calls fall flat every day amongst Jio and the systems of Airtel, Vodafone and Idea. This is a break of permit conditions by the officeholder administrators and seriously impacts client interests. This is against zero call disappointments on the Jio system," the organization said in the announcement.
The proposed enlarged limit by Idea is under 40 penny of the underlying firm request set by Reliance Jio in view of straightforward workings imparted to Idea a while back, it said and considered how quality parameters will be met by it in such a situation.
"Besides, the way of arrival of new limit by Idea and the other officeholder administrators is extremely baffling seeing that it is being reflected out of consideration for Jio. All administrators are committed according to permit conditions to give interconnection with the end goal that nature of administration parameters are met."
It said this was a permit commitment with favors being made towards Jio and looked for earnest activity.
