In India Triumph Motorcycles introduced, the new single variant Tiger Explorer XCx and is priced at Rs 18.75 lakh (ex-showroom price). The Tiger Explorer XCx packs state-of-the-art riding technology, which guarantees tractability and stability to the rider.
The upgrades comprise Triumph Semi-Active Suspension, cornering multi-channel ABS that can be switched on/off, traction control to stir confidence on roads and riding modes-Sports, Comfort and Normal.
The bike fitted with a 1215cc, triple cylinder engine, which uses a final streak drive to send power to the wheels. The power output from the fuel infused engine stood at 137bhp with a peak torque of 123Nm, which is mated to a six-speed transmission.
The bike uses IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), which in turn uses sensors and monitors placed. These sensors read the lean angles and riding habits of the rider, and work to provide optimum riding pleasure, comfort and safety.
The bike attains an electrically adjustable windscreen, which can be tweaked as per the necessity of bikers. It also marks a torque-assisted clutch lever, which is very light to use, cruise control to maintain stable speeds for long durations, 12V power sockets, a 5V under-seat USB socket for charging smartphones and navigation units as travelling.
