PM Narendra Modi wishes President Kovind on his 72nd birthday
NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi wished President Ram Nath Kovind on the social media on his 72nd birthday on Sunday.
“Birthday wishes to Rashtrapati ji. May Almighty bless him with a long and healthy life devoted to the service of our nation @rashtrapatibhvn,” Modi wrote.
On October 1, 1945, President Kovind was born at Kanpur Dehat in Uttar Pradesh.
PM Modi mentioned Ramnath Kovind as “simple & compassionate”.
“Ever since his term started, Rashtrapati ji has cherished himself to the individual of India through his simple & compassionate nature @rashtrapatibhvn,” Modi wrote.
“I have always discovered Rashtrapati ji to be responsive towards the desires of 125 crore Indians, particularly the deprived and marginalised,” he affirmed.
On July 25, President Kovind was chosen as the 14th President of India.
15 Indians death sentence changed to life term in Kuwait
Kuwait: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj affirmed on Sunday that the death sentence of 15 Indians changed to life term in Kuwaiti prison.
Swaraj affirmed the Emir has also told that the imprisonment of 119 Indian nationals be decreased.
Sushma expressed gratitude to the Emir of Kuwait for his “kind” sign.
On Twitter, Sushma affirmed, “The Emir of Kuwait has been pleased to commute the sentence of 15 Indian nationals from death to life imprisonment”.
Indian operation in Kuwait will give all promising help to the Indian nationals being freed from the jail, she wrote.
But, it was not obvious that under what allegations these individuals were put in the rear bars.
Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait also demanded for decline of the life term issued to 119 Indians, who are at present recorded in the prisons of his country. “We are grateful to the Emir of Kuwait for this kind gesture,” tweeted Swaraj.
Prior, Emir of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi made an apology to 149 Indian detainees’ culprits of minor crimes and giving sentences in the United Arab Emirates city that he handles.
Huawei to unveil Honor 9 on October 5 in India
Chinese smartphone maker company Huawei is all set to unveil Honor 9 handset in the market soon. Huawei has started sending out invitations to its clients for the event.
The company is likely to unveil Honor 9 handset in the markets on October 5. Earlier, it was said that Huawei will unveil P10 handset in the Indian market. The handset will go on sale in Glacier Grey, Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, Gold, Blue Bird, Robin Egg Blue colour options.
Coming to Honor 9 features, the cellphone features 5.15-inch Full HD display that comes with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920. The cellphone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC, involves 4GB/6GB of RAM and internal storage of d64GB/128GB.
Talking about its camera, the handset boasts dual camera setup that comes with 20MP and 12MP sensor. On the front, the cellphone features 8MP camera. It features fingerprint sensor and 3200mAh battery.
Recently, Huawei unveiled Honor 8 Pro handset at price of Rs 29,999. On the other hand, Honor 9 handset has price tag of 35,000 rupees.
Soha Ali- Kunal Khemu name their baby girl ‘Inaaya Naumi Khemu’
Actor Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu welcomed their first baby girl on September 29. She was born on the occasion of Mahanavami. On Twitter, Kunal Khemu wrote, “We are over the moon to share we have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl on this auspicious day Thank you for the love&blessings.”
The duo has now finalized the name of baby girl on Sunday and it is Inaaya Naumi Khemu.
“We have named our daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Little Inaaya is happy and healthy and she thanks all of you for your love and blessings,” Kunal Kemmu shared.
Kunal shared prior, “Soha and I are very happy to announce a joint production coming later this year — our first child! We feel blessed and thank you all for your good wishes.”
Till now, the proud parents of a baby girl haven’t shared any of the photographs on social media.
Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu tied knot in Paris in the month of January 2015.
Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated Tamil Thalaivas in Vivo Pro Kabaddi
Kabbadi team Puneri Paltan defeated UP Yoddha by 34-33 in the Pro Kabaddi League match that took place on Sunday in a close match. In the last minute of match, UP Yoddha raised a tough confront against the opponent team.
Puneri Paltan Player Deepak Hooda clinched three super raids and finished with 16 points while Rishank Devadiga of UP Yoddha scored nine take points.
