Afghanistan : Taliban gunmen have killed 12 members of the country’s security forces whom they had captured in recent ambushes, including policemen and soldiers in the eastern province of Ghazni, an official said on Tuesday.
The dead included seven policemen, three soldiers and two officials with the national spy agency.
Tahri said that killing took place on Tuesday in province’s Andar District where the Taliban conducted what he described as “ceremony” and forced local people to watch the killings.
Jawad Salangi, a spokesperson for Ghazni police said that, “security forces were kidnapped by the Taliban on separate highways in the province on June 3 and June 5.
People who were travelling that time faced the murders and kidnappings on road in recent weeks.
