10 students injured at Jaipur protest against ‘saffronisation’ of education

Jaipur No less than 10 understudies associated to NSUI harmed when police depended on lathi charge to scatter dissidents outside Rajasthan University's principle grounds in Jaipur on Monday.

The NSUI activists were dissenting against charged saffronisation of training and change being referred to paper design in examination by the BJP government.

One of the genuinely harmed understudies Deepak Dhindoria was admitted to the injury ward of SMS doctor's facility, while others were released after emergency treatment.

The police have captured 13 understudies, including NSUI president Satveer Choudhary and a young lady, under Section 151 of the IPC.

Pradesh Congress Committee VP Archana Sharma censured the police "overbearing" and affirmed that the BJP government needed to squash understudies' noiseless challenge. She blamed the state government for saffronising advanced education by erasing references relating to previous Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and even Mahatma Gandhi from history books.

"The philosophy of BJP and RSS was being pushed on understudies," she said. Almost 100 understudies were a piece of the NSUI-drove challenge against MA II-semester paper which had questions identified with BJP's administration and its saffron belief system.
